This weekend i was lucky enough to head down to the Birmingham NEC for the skills show...this is an event for school children and young adults to explore the possibilities of the future,allowing them to see and try many different things which they may later wish to pursue as a college course or career. The whole idea for me is just amazing and i really wish i was taken to something like this as a child.Lucky for me an extra space in the team came available so i got to head up to Brum and get involved.

There was so many different things to see and do but as i was working i only really got to see what we were doing (don't feel sorry for me its fine, i loved it ).LCBT were there demonstrating special effects make up and allowing students to try it out on each other.

LCBT were there for all 3 days of the show demonstrating how to create a range of different hair and makeup looks including;

Scratches
Bruises
zombie make up
Glitter lips(Applying different colored glitter to the lips,not the famous drag duo of the same name)
Hair styling

I was Blown away by the skills performed by our talented lecturers so i thought id include some cheeky pics so you can also be blown away.The first image(scratches) is one done by myself so feel free to send me a gold star or something :)
