Eye Baggage

We all suffer from the occasional dark circles or bags under our eyes so I've listed a few helpful ways to try and eliminate them .Obviously the first and most important thing I’m going to suggest is sleep, it’s an essential component in any beauty regime and it makes a huge difference but here are some other options if sleeping just simply isn't helping the situation(still sleep even its not making your eyes look pretty ,I’m not suggesting you just completely give up sleep and use another beauty tip instead…that would be ridiculous!.

Eye creams/gels-This is one of my go to options for dark circles, I often find a good eye product can dramatically reduce circles and for some reason it’s usually a gel consistency that I get the best results from. A decent eye mask once or twice a week really can do wonders for your eyes.

Cold tea bag- This is one of those old beauty tips that we always feel silly for trying but will we  feel silly when we have lovely bagless eyes? nope I don’t think we will .I've tried this once before and although I’m not sure how much good it did it was actually weirdly nice to just chill out for a few minutes with tea bags on my eyes.

Green tea ice cubes –Ok so even I was a bit taken back when I first heard about this, I don’t think I've ever even drunk green tea so the thought of putting it on my eyes seemed odd at first .Apparently the way to do it is to make it as if you are going to drink it (with boiling water) then once it cools down a bit pour it into an ice cube tray and pop it in the freezer. Once its frozen take out a cube  and gently rub it underneath your eye. It is supposed to be really soothing and I’m now really looking forward to trying this technique.

Soothing gel eye mask- if the thought of putting tea bags and green tea ice cubes on your eyes don’t really appeal to you but you still want something more natural than using eye creams why not try buying a gel eye mask? They come with gel inside it already and all you have to is pop it in the fridge for a few minutes before you want to use it then just place it over your eyes and relax.

Cucumber- I’m sure there’s some kind of beauty rule somewhere that says I can’t write a post like this without mentioning cucumber so here it is. it’s clear to me that this will be great for the eyes and it is one of the more simple options to try but unfortunately I’m not a big fan of cucumber so it’s not an option I usually  jump for but like I said there’s no way I could leave it off this list, it just wouldn't be right.

Just putting it out there I am not a doctor (although Dr Brad would sound pretty cool) so anything in this post should simply be read as light and entertaining. I don’t recommend actioning any of my tips or suggestions without seeking medical/professional advice first.
